In his acceptance speech, Obama declared that "John McCain has voted with George Bush 90 percent of the time . . . I don't know about you, but I'm not ready to take a 10 percent chance on change."
What Obama fails to mention is that he has voted with his party
97% of the time. While President Bush has a low approval rating of 30%, the
Democrat-controlled Congress has an even lower approval rating of about 15%. Obama is not offering the kind of post-partisanship he initially promised, he is offering more of the same.
